HOLY. CRAP. I made this for my family for dinner tonight and it is hands down the best dish I have ever made, possibly best dish I've ever eaten in my life. I tried this and substituted the crushed tomatoes for real tomatoes and crushed them myself in case there is someone who doesn’t like canned ingredients, I also added mushrooms and everything turned out perfect! Just insanely delicious. I feel like this is such an easy recipe that also gives you freedom to add whatever else you like in the dish! This is great! Thank you for the recipe my whole house smells like goodness!

UPDATE: We made your Red Lentil Curry, EVERYONE ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT!! I even doubled the recipe and the next day I had it for dinner, again and here comes my kids, “What, you were going to eat that without us? I want a bowl.” And here they just got done eating their dinner!!
The other best part, outside of how excellent it was, my 20 old son came down as I was about to start preparing and washed his hands and said, “Ok, put me to work”. After dinner he said, “Call me down anytime you’re making her recipes.”
Girl, don’t ever change that recipe, it’s spot on! Used turmeric too😋

A little warning for everyone who want's to use fresh turmeric. Wear gloves! I washed my hands twice and they are still yellow. : ) But in ~20 minutes I'll know if it was worth it.

This was so tasty,made it today😆 but,next time I'll use stronger fresh chili,at least habaneros. To me the spicy level with this was around 4/10,so definitely not too hot if some ppl watching this are afraid of such😃

my bf is a picky eater! he doesnt like beans and he would never eat curry… tbh i am not a picky eater and i dont even like red lentil curry or any curry that isnt the japanese kind. i dont think this will work.

The issue is 'food deserts' which most communities have been stuck in. The situation has grown worse. If you live in a food desert, as most do, you will be forced to eat crap food including processed meats and dairy. The goal is for communities to push out fast food chains and incentivize healthy food outlets including drive throughs that serve veggie meat alternatives including vegan cheese. Even Burger King figured this out for awhile.

Instead of almond butter which I didn't had I used a tsp of tahini, and I used fresh tomatoes instead of canned crushed tomatoes….it tasted EPIC!!!!!!!!!!!!
