Vegetable Frankie | Mumbai Street Food Recipe by Chetna Patel

Veg Frankie recipe | veg Kathi roll recipe | veg Frankie roll. popular street food in India originated from the streets of Kolkata. it is also known by different names like Kati roll, Frankie food, Frankie recipe or even vegetable Frankie. basically, spiced vegetables are wrapped in chapati or wrap bread to which tomato sauce and green chutney are added to enhance the flavor.

Ingredients:
(For Frankie Masala)
– 1tbsp Chaat Masala
– 1/4tbsp Garam Masala
– 1/2tbsp Red Chilli Powder
– 1/4tbsp Roasted Jeera Powder
– 1/2tbsp Coriander Cumin Powder
– 1/4tbsp Black Pepper Powder
(For Frankie Chapati)
– 3/4 cup Wheat Flour
– 3/4 cup Maida Flour
– Salt to taste
– 1tbsp Oil
– Add Water as Needed
(For Frankie Stuffing)
– 2tbsp Oil
– 1tbsp Crushed Garlic
– 1tbsp Finely Chopped Ginger
– 2tbsp Finely Chopped Green Chilli
– 1/2tsp Turmeric Powder
– 1/2tsp Red Chilli Powder
– 3-4 Medium Size Potatoes Mashed With Hand
– 2tsp Frankie Masala
– Salt to taste
– Sprinkle Coriander Leaves
(For Citric Acid)
– 1/4 cup Vinegar
– 2tbsp Sliced Green Chilli
– 1/4tsp Salt
