@Ruby Faith Strange. I had no ads.
@Molly Sund Me, too.😁❤
You asked.. june served !! 😜
@delish you shpuld pay june more she is the best person on here
Whatever Delish is paying June, it’s not enough. She’s amazing.
@J omg WHAT thank you :’) that’s literally so sweet
Let’s hope she’s not getting bon appetit-ed 😂
Agreed
I want to be Aaron for a week to try out her stuff! I’m amazed every time.
@Cindi McClure me too! If you have Instagram, you should follow June & Aaron! They have great food content 🤩
I hope they’re paying June her worth for single-handedly carrying this channel on her back.
for real, ive had to tell youtube not to rec other series on the channel because theyre annoying >.>
I also only watch June. Delish otherwise is really lacking in content.
Rt
+1
we literally have trauma from BA
Aaron and June are really sweet to each other. She is putting up with his spicy monomania and he is very supportive to her culinary expeditions towards the great unknown. And they both just love to eat food, it just shows.
Aaron-“its a 7.5”
June-Adds one birds eye chili
Aaron- “Its a 10.”
June is the ONLY reason I watch the Delish channel. I skip over everything unless June is cooking in it.
June: I’ve never cooked soy chunks before
Me a broke Indian student living in us who survived on chickpeas and soy for 2years: surprised pickachu face.
June’s shoulders must be hurting by carrying the channel on her own
Ha ha.. mmm..
Wow the Savagery
Duh cuz I thought this was her channel lol
@pela !! Reading these comments I just learned this isnt her channel. haha
YES🙌 June is the reason I subscribed, more June in all forms (but especially featuring Aaron- I love them together!) June you are the best🙏🙏
I don’t see any problems with using spices you already have. One, spices are usually cheap and last a lot, and two, no one wants to see this poor woman eating bland cauliflower for a week. And if we’re going to recreate the dishes, we’re (probably) (hopefully) going to use them too.
Bruh, a bag of avocadoes for only $1? They cost $9 here in Australia lol
@joeynpj yeah, imported stuff is expensive everywhere. If I wanted to eat some specialty indigenous Australian food here, I’m sure it would cost me an arm and a leg, too
she is not poor its jus for the video and creativity
@J Girl I’m from CA where local avocado production accounts for more than 80% of the U.S. production totals, and they are still $5/lb.
Did you ever post on live journal
With the collapse of the BA empire, a lonely, hungry nation turns its eyes to… June.
Hi, I’m new here; what’s a BA?
hold up what happened to BA?
@Creation Anomaly I think it’s Bon Apetit? Another pro cooking channel
@Johanna Sweet Thank you! 😊👍🏻
This is so true for me.
just feed him ghost peppers june.
Even those I believe will not be spicy enough
@Her Fawn Chili pepper sauce to dip in
Now I want a video with Aaron eating spicy peppers.
@Small Cat Big World he did in the Christmas video several times.
“That’s definitely expired. I’m gonna use it cause it smells good.” –> my kind of food vlogger
As I really like this video, I’d like to add some sort of timestamps for future reference:
2:42 preparing chickpeas and peanuts (4:11 4:45 9:18 as well)
5:40 /6:40 roasting carrots and onions
7:27 caramelized onions
10:17 chickpea soya chili ($2.09)
13:23 peanut milk, also 29:11
14:03 start of veggie stock (save scraps before!) Also preparing broccoli and cauliflower for later use
14:28 veggie noodles with peanut sauce, especially 15:30 ($2.22)
20:13 chickpea tacos ($2.22)

thanks for this, but when does she make the peanut ricotta?
I love you, thank you for this!!!
This is helpful, thank you.
Thank you!
thank youu!
Cooking those veggie noodles in that broth that way was pure genius!! I’ve said this before, and I’ll say it again…. It is so refreshing to see someone cook the way you do on a public platform…. Repurposing packaging, cleaning and reusing Ziploc bags and “disposable” containers… Washing out and using the dregs of hot sauce… Using “dead” or “expired” stuff because really, your senses should determine whether its good or bad, and not necessarily some printed date.. Your creativity and resourcefulness is just wonderful.. Always a fan!!
Devin then don’t 🙂
This!!!!
As opposed to people who have a serving dish to pour things into a serving dish and place it on another serving dish
Yessssss
Dang 977 thumbs up wow🤗
The thing that stuck with me was the part in the beginning about the spices. Having a selection of spices (at least the basics) is absolutely an investment. The right spices can turn even the most basic of meals to something amazing. When I was a broke college students, I would pick up 1-2 spices a month and soon I had a pretty respectable spice rack. A+, would recommend!
@Kristina Tidwell I found a great brand at Home Goods. Also found Saffron.
@Kristina Tidwell I realize that Amazon wouldn’t necessarily be considered “discount,” but you can get 16oz from them for US$10.90 vs 1.87oz from Walmart for $4.58…
@Kristina Tidwell You might want to check IShopIndian.com–they have a lot of spices in large and inexpensive quantities. Fantastic selection.
Spices ARE what makes a meal great ! So powerful and sauces too ! 😀
also, if you have a Trader Joe’s near you – they have super affordable spices!!! that’s where I get all mine as a college student and even sharing with 4 roommates, they last a while:)
That is so funny. Aaron didn’t want to even try the veg burgers and it turned out to be his favorite. Love it.
I would love to know where does June buy her vegetables for $1
Here in Germany 1€ broccoli is quite normal, depending on the season
I live in AZ and where I get the most bang for my buck is the Hispanic/Latino grocery stores because you buy in bulk , typically I only spend $15 on produce
@Maiasatara You can’t get these prices at your normal Stop & Shop — you have to go to the ethnic grocery stores.
International stores
@Maiasatara you would buy what’s affordable where you live….
“aaron doesn’t like sugar”
aaron: *eats blueberries and chocolate chips covered in maple syrup*
Not just chocolate chips, peanut butter chips! They’re so much sweeter!
I think she meant he doesn’t like sugar in savory food
It was butter scotch chips I think
@Corina Torres I just watched The “Partner’s diet for a week” so I remember better now, it’s Peanut Butter chip😄
June: Yeah, I’m only spending 25 dollars for a week of healthy, vegan, gluten free meals
Me: Spends 25 dollars worth of frozen pizzas in a day and watches this video to feel healthy
I’d love to see June do more vegan and vegetarian meals on a budget, but without the gluten-free restriction, which is a medical one, rather than a lifestyle choice.
But she is glutant intolerant
