Chinese Cabbage & Fungus Stir-Fry (Chinese Spicy Vegetarian Recipe)
            Welcome to Xiao's Kitchen. My name is Xiao Wei, ever since my Mother taught me how to cook at an early age, I have always had a strong passion for Cooking. My family still live in Inner Mongolia in the northern part of China, where I visit each year and pick-up new Asian/Chinese recipes.
            Soak the Wood Ear Fungus for 4 hours before cooking if you are using a dried product.
            
              
            
            Ingredients:
            100g Chinese Cabbage
            100g Wood Ear Fungus
            1 Spring Onion
            3 Cloves Garlic
            ½cm Ginger
            2 Red Chillies (Optional)
            ½ Tsp Ground Red Pepper
            1 Tbsp Soy Sauce
            Salt to Taste
            Method:
            1. Wash and clean the tree fungus after soaking
            2. Cut off the roots and tare into bite size
            3. Finely chop the spring onion
            4. Finely chop the garlic
            5. Finely chop the ginger
            6. And finely chop the chillies
            7. Slice the cabbage into bite-size pieces
            8. Heat 2 Tbsp oil in the wok until smoking hot
            9. Add ginger, garlic, spring onion, chillies and ground red pepper
            10. Stir fry for few seconds
            11. Add the tree fungus and stir-fry for 2 minutes
            12. Add soy sauce and stir-fry for a few seconds
            13. Add cabbage and stir-fry for 2 minutes
            14. Sprinkle salt
            15. Stir for a few seconds
            16. Transfer to a dish
            17. And serve

Hey there, thanks for the video. I think I will try making this recipe sometime. I have tried wood ear fungus before and It’s really good. I have purchased some dried wood ear from my asian supermarket along with some dried shiitake mushrooms. I hope to make this recipe soon.
