okay now do a broke and a rich vegan lol
@Elizah Wilson Aldi’s are a great alternative
Examples,,,,simple pb&jelly sandwich, rice and beans, cereal with almond milk, mashed sweet potatoes, kale greens (without the meat,duh), fruit salads, reman (like brandon’s),,,,etc,etc
@Kat hi,,very true and some cultures love meat,,,,you can start simpler foods vs being all fancy
@Cindy L it kinda is depending on how restricted your diet is as well as being a vegan
@BDR0418 that’s not always true, I’m not vegan but i have a lot if dietary restrictions to the point where my eating patterns closely resemble being a vegan. I live in new york so this could be a poor example but trying to buy gluten free soy free dairy free almost everything free bread runs me about 13-15 dollars whereas buying a small pack of ground meat is only about 4 or 5 it always depends
Why’d they cut my mans out of the thumbnail
@Alex yeah… don’t bring race into this
I like how everyone is bringing the dude race into why he’s not in the thumbnail.. how do you know it’s not because he’s a man??
@xX_PsyKai_Xx what?
@Gabija Stankute NOOOOO IT WAS BECAUSE HE WAS IN THE MIDDLE ON BEING A VEGAN
• one girl one week vegan
•HIM 3 year vegan
•other girl 6 year vegan
@Alex or probably cause they focus on the highest and lowest. Brandon was in between
Or do u think everything is racism nowadays?
Me a vegan of 4 years eating toast with jam for breakfast, eats falafel and a tomato for lunch, pasta dinner watching this like 😳
The better you are at cooking, the cheaper veganism is 😉
@Zainaa i will try this thanks!
@I’m not FBI bruh well in the UK 90% of our pasta is vegan, not the stuff from the fridge section but the dried stuff
okay but that still sounds delicious
@Anna Hare Depends on what’s in the smoothie and what else your eating during the day.
Why isn’t Brandon in the thumbnail? He even had the most conventional recipes
@alex p yea that’s what I was thinking 🙁
That is a good question !
@alex p just stop it, seriously….
@lalalalisa m no, stop making it about racism.
@•Joanna •J• no it is . 😐
Brandon definitely had the best recipes why wasn’t he in the thumbnail
Is recipes where lacking in a lot of nutrition specifically protein I agree they looked good but he could have added some nut butter to his smoothie, tofu or tempeh to ramen, and walnuts or smth to his bbq
It’s the two extremes in the thumbnail to catch viewers
yummy
Definitely didn’t know there would be a middle or extra recipes , a nice bonus for the viewer I believe 🤔
Not a vegan, but slowly incorporating more plant-based foods into my diet. I wanna try a plant-based diet once I move out. Totally gonna try homegirl’s kale “caesar” salad. Looks AMAZING.
@Cameron Howe The vegan diet is missing out on a bunch of significant vitamins. You need to take supplements with it so then it’s like what’s the point. Your better off cutting back on meat to like 1-2 times a week for climate and health reasons rather then completely skipping out on meat
@The Fear yea you definitely can get all the nutrients on the vegan diet but then you’d have to be finding sunflowers from the North Pole or beans from the deep sea it’s not easy to make/ cook the vegan diet to make it healthy you need certain vitamins that aren’t in everyday foods it’s a massive pain in the butt and makes no difference when meat has what you need
@Kami
I agree. No offense to vegans or vegetarians whatsoever, but generally it’s more healthy to have met products in your diets. How do you thing people survived way back then? We get our B vitamins from meat. Humans didn’t have supplements back then.
@Kayden L, malnourished maby but underweight has nothing to do with a vegan/vegetarian diet. There is less healthy vegan food out there
@The red Alpha, it’s not completely healthy all the time, processed meats and red meats tend to be worse of the heart.
I’m a 15 year vegan *eats half a bag of baby carrots in front of the fridge with the door open for lunch*
@Jamie Cee49 do you like avoid people who eat meat irl lol
75% of my diet is just carrots and hummus
Mood
same
@Isla aa oh god, I read hummus as humans and got scared
kinda mad why isn’t Brandon in the thumbnail???? like he did not contribute amazing recipes for this video to not even be in the thumbnail??? what’s that about !!!!
@Deadly One woah chill out man, you really need to relax
its not a big deal?
@Deadly One its not a big deal tho? two faces on the thumbnail perform the best for the algorithm because more people will be likely to click on it chill lmao no need to be so aggressive
Also I feel like the girls were only vegan for health and he is vegan for the animals
@Created by Nemanja right like he had the best meals
*laughs in vegan who eats pasta and smoothies for every meal of the day*
@Janie Swanson no wonder they’re calling you names. No one likes your attitude, it’s horrible
@Marianna S “Nobody is 100% vegan so just know that”
Being vegan isn’t a percentage metric. You’re either vegan or you’re not.
Thanks for agreeing that no one is vegan.
@Alana “You were judging these people saying they weren’t a vegan and all this with no proof”
No proof?
Smart phones, computers, routers, and servers are made with and/or contain animal products.
Vegan (noun) – a person who does not eat or use animal products.
They are using animal products every time they comment.
Do you think they are using smoke signals?
“Read the things you said and if you don’t feel bad then I’m sorry you don’t know what kindness is.”
I don’t respond to toxicity with kindness. People harass and name call me because I am pointing out facts that interfere with their lies.
@Janie Swanson I’m not agreeing and never will, that girl that you said that isn’t vegan bc she uses a mobile phone is vegan,. Don’t tell ppl what they can and can’t be
@Marianna S “I’m not agreeing and never will”
Which proves you’re just attacking me personally and actual facts don’t matter to you.
“that girl that you said that isn’t vegan bc she uses a mobile phone is vegan”
Not true.
Vegan (noun) – a person who does not eat or use animal products.
Smart phones, computers, routers, and servers are made with and/or contain animal products.
She isn’t vegan. She intentionally and needlessly uses animal products.
Do you think she was sending up smoke signals?
“Don’t tell ppl what they can and can’t be”
I’m not.
I am simply informing people that they aren’t what they are pretending to be.
Anything else?
that girl really just put like 4 flakes af chilli in her avocado😭😭
came to comment this 😂
“What 2 normal vegans and 1 vegan chef eat in a day”
@Philä Bu looks like the dijon mustard that has the seeds in. Little less common, but still dijon.
@Philä Bu it is, just not the one you’re used to lol
@Agii Dandelion I don’t think anyone actually does that 😂
@salafadel wdym
You found me!! Lol😝
Okay so here’s your real average vegan what I eat in a day lol. Breakfast: Oatmeal and banana. Lunch: boca burger and chips with hummus. Snack: Smoothie. Dinner: Mushroom and potato curry. Other snack: Off brand thin mint cookies from dollar general lol (This is what I ate yesterday lol)
@kiwi oh ok….. I’m sorry I didn’t mean to
@박미순 its all good
@박미순 1) projection. Just because you’re allergic doesn’t mean everyone else is. 2) “corpse” nice use of emotional language. It doesn’t scare anyone bud. You’re eating the corpses of plants, we can say it too. 3) none of those are true. You don’t understand what a carcinogen or controlled factor is. Eating a moderate amount of unprocessed (excluding simply cooking) meat has been shown to have no noticeable risks to health—and poultry and fish have been shown to be BENEFICIAL. Especially fish. 4) it’s not sentient like you or I, it cannot process it’s about to die or be eaten in the future.
@Kayden L 1) that’s true but it doesn’t change any of the other things I said 2) corpse is not emotional language, meat is literally a piece of corpse, dead plants can’t be called corpses in the same way animals can since plants dln’t have any meat or organs for that matter 3) you can deny everything YEARS OF RESEARCH just because you don’t agree with it, the only reason fish is considered benefical is that it’s better for the body than other meats but still not as good as plants, also fish live in a heavily polluted environment since humans dump so much waste in the water and that pollution gets absorbed by their flesh. 4) animals are 100% sentient, even if they are not aware they are dying soon they are aware when their new born babys are taken away from them, they are aware when their beaks are cut, they are aware when their legs break due to lack of calcium, they are aware when they get stuck in a small cage for life, they are aware when they get artificially raped.
@박미순 imagine commenting on what other people eat without thimpnking about how much harm it can cause for them.
Brandon is so cute & has such a nice voice. You don’t find many men vegans well at least not in North Carolina
You were right, MEN dont go vegan. Pathetic.
Men vegans 🤣🤣🤣🤣
😂😂😂😂😂😂
Only vegans I know in north caroling is the ones who smoke weed
And I live in North Carolina lol
I misheard “ground cinnamon” as “brown cinnamon”, and thought what the hell kind of cinnamon have I been using then? 😂🙈
I was like so is there different cinnamon… cause idk what I’m using
IKR I was like he definitely said brown cinnamon but isn’t all cinnamon brown anyways. 😅😂
same
@do you ever feel like a plastic bag- drifting through the wind, wanting to start again….🤟🏻😉
wait he said ground cinnamon also the way he said quinoa
Rachel: wakes up at 3am to make granola bars
me: survives on pasta and lentils
You do know pasta isnt vegan, its egg and flour…
@Ava you know you can get vegan pasta…
@Ava Most store-bought, dried pasta is vegan, but if I’m buying a new brand I always make sure to check 🙂
she might prepare the granola bars in advance 🙂
Tip: don’t cook your Veggies like broccoli, carrots and cauliflower with so much water. it takes out the nutrients. instead, steam them. put a bit of water in the pot, so that it covers the bottom and like 1-2cm up. add your Veggies, cook on medium and cover. it takes a bit more time, but it’s worth it! 🙂
👍🏾
Just eat them raw. That’s even better.
very good advice
Oof I’m gonna start streaming mine more
@Sahdia Bennet hahahhahahahahhhahahahahahahahahahah
I feel like this has 0 to do with experience and 100% with just how much you wanna cook and what quality of food you desire
even a 20 year vegan will make toast with peanutbutter on lazy days
and a day one vegan can make a fried tofu chia special when they feel fancy
Also 100% relies on ability (like energy) and money
8:12 always start with onions before garlic, onion needs time to get cooked while garlic gets cooked pretty fast
thank you for this omgggg garlic can also be easy to burn if ur not careful
“Eating vegetables is really important on a vegan diet”
on one hand I’m like “You don’t say…” and on the other hand I’m over here binging on plain pasta and oil like “…oh right”
I mean eating vegetables is really important in any diet
I love pasta but it makes me so chunkyyyy
I’m so sorry, did my man just pronounce “quinoa” as “key-no-a”
@Carolin well I’m not from America so there’s that for you lmao your assumption is hilarious though and there are proper phonetic pronunciations for all words, quinoa included.
@Destiny Williams Sorry for assuming that you were American but I’ve seen this in many comment sections so it just seemed typical :/ Nevertheless, of course there are “proper phonetic pronunciations” for all words, I know that, however what I was saying was that quinoa is pronounced differently in different countries aka countries where the main language is not english, I guess I should have made that more clear. In South America for example (I think it originated there but idk for sure so I might be wrong) it’s pronounced the spanish way which is similar to what he said in the video. The person you were replying to is from Germany and there they pronounce it that way as well. All I’m trying to say is that your way of saying it is the right way to say it in english apparently but the pronunciation differs in other countries that are not english. Sorry for the misunderstanding 🙂
@Shea Donnelly That’s right, it’s pronounced keen-wa and I’m peruvian so end of the argument wiiiii.
@Camila Cordero :))
@Poduszka same. I think if I started to say kenwaa or whatever in Germany, nobody would understand what i mean. Kie – Noah is just the common pronounciation xF
