Friendly advise: That’s not how you cook pasta! As an italian For me that’s blasphemy. You need to bring water to boil, put salt in it and then throw the pasta.

Who cares? I eat my pasta raw.

        andrea olivieri says:

        Georgia Andrea says:

Not gonna lie though. The mushroom joke where you cut it with its eyes still looking at me was pretty disturbing.

        Tina says:

“In the pan goes some pasta, oil and salt (…)” what the heck, this is not how you boil pasta, it makes me cry 😱😨

        FioreFabrizio says:

@anna g nobody is using teiere anymore. It’s like the old version of the kettle. Nobody is using old kettles now, I guess. Well, if you are very closed to your own traditions you can do whatever you want, but it was weird seeing a guy in London, where there’s no time even to check the time, that was ignoring the kettle and using a very thick pan to boil the water. I think he had to wait at least 10 minutes or something. Crazy.

        Glittery Unicorn says:

@FioreFabrizio I feel so sorry for you, sucked up in the judgemental life of people that think that everything need to be done fast. You can use kettle for doing pasta, but still the methods used in the video is wrong. You boil water with the kettle, pour it in a pot on the stove, add salt and put the pasta in. Still no reason to be so acid towards people that decide to do in another way. Not everyone love the fast crazy life of London. Lived there for 7 years, runned to a countryside village at the first occasion I had, to live a slow life where I can enjoy taking my time without people like you around, that will come and try to make my life “efficient” instead of happy.. 😉

        Ben Shaw says:

The Easy Vegan sure about that?

        Ben Shaw says:

I know. Firstly boil the water first. Secondly add salt right before the pasta once the water is boiled. Thirdly no olive oil it just makes the sauce slip off the pasta.

        Love Kippel-Berge says:

Also a hot tip: don’t add oil to the pasta. The oil adheres to the pasta and limits the pastas ability to absorb the sauce❤️ otherwise looks delicious

        Tabarak Amin says:

I had to like after the carbon error joke

        valerie larry says:

Bruh. Was not expecting that mushroom skit lololololol

        Shari Dillon says:

‘We’re gonna start by pouring boiling water all over our nuts’ This made me laugh so hard because I don’t know how to be an adult 😆

        silver fox says:

I’m italian and I think it’s a great and well made alternative to carbonara. just one advice that I must tell you as an italian… don’t put pasta in water before the water actually boils. you have to boil separetly the water and putting pasta in just when it boils, let it boil from 8-12 minutes (it depends on the pasta, usually is around 10 minutes) and serve. one thing that you should and I often see but not in this case is cooking pasta with the sugo. don’t do that pls everytime you do that an italian has an heart attack

        Robert says:

all respect to you but that’s complete bullshit. It really doesn’t matter if the water boils already.

        Christian Blandford says:

So, this is obnoxious, sorry. YES. The pasta has to go into boiling water straight away. However, he used boiling water from a kettle into the pasta. I did an experiment and found that the texture is exactly the same and I get the same al dente after 9 minutes 🙂 so, there’s no difference. Pick on something that will effect the final product, not anger from tradition

No worries, lactose intolerant people… who still torture and kill living things for their own pleasure. You welcome!

        Yvonne R. says:

I tried serving this to a friend who doesn’t like vegetables and is a religious meat eater. And she loved it. I hadn’t told her about how this recipe is purely vegan and non-meat until she had finished everything. I think this will work well with children too. 10/10.

        Galactic GANG says:

That’s the best way to do it ahaha

        Bhaarat Sharma says:

“Okay so we’re going to start by pouring boiling water all over our nuts this is going to soften them up so that when we blend them later they’re going to be super creamy”. Definitely not planned.
