Just got my friends instapot for my bday! So happy. Cant wait to use it.

Just watched a few videos on how to make soup with it….. just curious. Why do people use there instant pots pressure cooking setting for soup, and not the soup setting? Is that better for broth or something?

The sautee onions and garlic, add broth and veggies, switch to pressure cook for 5 minutes all seems like the standard for everyone. Just curious when people use there soup setting.

As I said, just got this, and will make my first soup now! I'm just curious why people use this method. Thanks
