This could so easily be made vegan 🙂 No need to use eggs, make a simple flax egg or chia egg instead and vegan mayo for the sauce!

What can I use instead of eggs?
I tried this recipe with a small change:
Roll the falafel balls in breadcrumbs, and deep fry instead of baking. Perfect!
Lemon juice out of a bottle though, really?
What’s the song at the beginning of the show? The intro?
I’m confused. Why wouldn’t you simply use chickpeas instead of baked beans in this recipe? I mean, you’re using besan, chickpea flour, so it’s not an allergy thing, and I assume the cook who keeps besan in their pantry would also have dried/canned chickpeas, favas, or any other unflavored legumes on their shelves as well. I guess it’s a decent recipe, and I love her energy and presentation, but I’m not really understanding why anyone would make falafel this way.
I don't know. Only one loo where i live.
Using canned ingredients shows a person's level of competence. And just plain lazy sheesh!
What a wonderful idea! I stored some baked beans before the lockdown, was fade up of having them with jacket potatoes. I am gonna try your recipe today
