Learn how to make the perfect vegan chickpea curry with some store-cupboard essentials: chickpeas!
We challenged Barney to get creative in the kitchen with a tin of chickpeas, and the other ingredients he had in his cupboard. The result? A vegan chickpea curry, full of spices, cauliflower, tinned tomatoes (and a few rescued herbs past their best!). Watch to find out how he did it, and find plenty of recipes to make with chickpeas here: https://www.bbcgoodfood.com/recipes/collection/chickpea

This was a good video … BUT … the background "music" was aggravating!!! I had trouble hearing you clearly.
Please do more of these back of the cupboard ideas.
Nice to know about the garlic skin.
Great spice pouring skills! I also keep spices in clean jars, but I have to use the lids as a measuring device when I'm adding the spices to a dish – in the past I accidentally chucked half the contents of a jar in when I only wanted a teaspoon!
Terrific recipe for these times! BUT soooo much oil. I will be looking for ways to keep tabs on how much oil I put in it when I make it.
Damn, that music beat us pure fire. May I please get a track ID? Also great recipe, will give this a go for my wife.
a drop more oil= a Tbsp, lol I'd do it too seeing how dry it looked, not to mention….tempting 🙂 thx and serve it on couscous
