Hot chicken tip: probably a little risky giving the chooks their eggshells whole, since they sometimes start eating their fresh eggs as a result. Safer to dry and crush/powder the shells before putting it in their mix ❤️

Susie, I love you, but please don’t tell people it’s so hard to get protein as a non-meater 🥺 as a history major, one of my favorite fun facts about indigenous Mexicans is that they got all of their essential proteins from their diet of mainly beans, squash, and maize! These days with the wide array of food imports, there are so many options for getting your proteins in!
