*** About Me ***
I’m Paul Kerton. Personal Trainer, Vegan Nutritionist and Public Speaker. Not so long ago, in a misguided attempt to try and grow muscle as quickly as possible, I ended up eating more animal products than probably anyone you’ve ever met. Through research I came to learn the deleterious effects that eating even quite trivial amounts of animal products has on one’s health and through personal experience I found that far from being a hindrance to sports performance, a well planned vegan diet is actually optimal! Then with an open heart I looked at how we treat animals in order for them to end up on our plates and it shook me to the core. I could not believe that for so long I fell for the lies that others tell us, that we tell ourselves, in order that we perpetuate this destructive behaviour. Destructive to ourselves, the beautiful, intelligent sentient beings that are here with us and indeed our planet. To try and put right my part in all of this I was compelled to overcome my fear of being filmed for YouTube and television, appearing on the radio and more recently public speaking. On a spiritual level I’ve come to realise that my fellow man too is suffering. If I won’t see harm come to a chicken I’ve never met then why would I be unkind to my brothers? If someone is being aggressive or unkind toward me, surely the suffering inflicted on them in the past is simply spilling over? Do I want to add to that, or can I step out of my ego long enough to forgive them and maybe break the cycle of negativity? This former, quick to anger “meat head” bouncer has been on one transformative journey!

I went vegan no oil about a year ago dropped from 21st to 16st and I am still dropping. For sure ditching all added oils was the biggest factor for me. Keep up the good work Paul.
I like how this is less risk for salmonella compared to meat burgers or meat in general giving me anxiety if I leave their wet droplets on the counter.
Is this recipe in print/text anywhere? I don't have a way to watch youtube in the kitchen so I'd have to watch the video at the PC while writing down the recipe and then go do it in the kitchen.
New subbie !!! Great video !!! 😃👍
There are a number of recent studies conducted on the correlation between consuming olive oil and heart disease and olive oil was in fact found to reduce relative factors. Burgers look nice though 😊
Cook beaucoup chickpeas, 6 cups or so. Freeze them, single layer at a time in whatever sheet pan can fit in your freezer. Bag them and stack them in the freezer for a few months… never kept them longer.
Hey Paul, i really recommend you to buy an instant pot! Its so nice and easy, you can cook chickpeas (dry) in 35 min. No empty packages to throw away.
Made these last night, they were delicious! How do you stop the mixture from getting too moist? I had to add breadcrumbs to get it dry enough.
Your videos keep getting bettet
That burger press looks GENIOUS! Where did you get it?
I can't remember if I already commented this, but these are…… GOD DAMNNNN!!!! SO SO GOOD! fully recommend! Couldn't do the dip, so put nouch in the burgers, so so tasty!
Hi there. Just subscribed and I like that meal you just created. Can I freeze those burgers before they are cooked?
Want to make some right now
Great recipies. I will make them.
This takes me back to the first YouTube video I have seen from your chanel.
Nice recipe, thanks again. What do you mean that there's a plastic liner in cans of chickpeas? I get mine from Asda or Tesco and it doesn't have that.
Nice burgers hench !
Please tell me If 2 avacadoes and 100grams of almonds enough fat for an 80kg vegan ?
Just made the veggie burgers, enjoying it with my steamed veggies and greens. I will make again. Good recipe.
In fact a little later on I thought back to lunch and how delicious it was and in my mind said, "Gaaawwwd Daaammmmn" lol
Great recipe, thanks!
What a fantastic looking meal!! Never tried making vegan burgers but man oh man I'm gonna start!!
