YOURguardian angel says:

I think that the amount of money that you have to spend to eat vegan highly depends on the country and where you livr, I hear my friends from America saying that it;s expensive to buy fruits and vegies which is really sad but me who lives in Greece , when I go to the farmers market I buy a crazy amount of vegan foods(not proccesed foods ofcourse) with less than 20 euros and I buy fresh produse that last me at least one week and a bunds of dry goods that last me for 3-4 weeks and maybe in some countries it;s even cheaper

I have been forced to go Vegan because, of diabetes. My father died from it but, he wouldn't quit eating S. Food. However, Vegan foods are providing a much better life for me and I'm not sick all of time! I live down the road from a slaughter house and that alone was enough for me! After eating Southern foods, meat and breads all my life I feel so much better now I never thought I would EVER go Vegan!! However, I recommend it for anyone with health issues or just love animals ☺️

Bobby says:

I lost my Mom 2 months ago to heart failure and now my father is in the hospital with the same thing with a poor outlook. I was in the Air Force for 20 years and was in top shape since I was in special operations. Since I transitioned from the Air Force in 2008, I have gained a good amount of weight and need to get healthy. I am going to go Vegan this week. Are there any good resources on how to cook and eat vegan with flavor? I was cooking with olive oil which added flavor and used butter on baked potatoes. Thanks! (picture is from 7 years ago when I was in great shape)

Darrel Greene says:

I've been vegan for a year.

When I meal prep I listen to music or tedtalks. While meal prepping one Sunday, I turned on YouTube and stumbled across a tedtalk with Dr. Michael Greger. I've been fighting my weight for most of my life, and his promise to answers perked my interest. The science he shared sold me. I love the science behind plants and am sad that animal products are so harmful for us. But the science makes sense. Been happy ever since, despite being the guy who could eat two steaks as an afternoon snack and still have room for dinner.

Taelor Goss says:

Thank you for recommending Chef Ajs video! I loved it.

Evan Klein says:

i'm now on a vegan diet because of 5 things

1.one time when i went out with mom and dad i asked them if i can go on a diet but they shrugged that idea off and ended up going to a fast food restaurant and when they tried to feed me that crap i instantly got annoyed and furious with them and refused to eat the food and when we got home i was crying in tears and was disgusted at the same time

2.if animal to me think less alligator and more therizinosaurus

3.many fat people usually gets insulted and picked on i see that stuff a lot even in animated stories here as well

4.i gave up eating meat because of the health issues

5.i think that losing weight will make you attractive

I want to TRY a vegan diet for health and weight loss. I want to try Ayurveda and possibly "some parts" of yoga and meditation to have peace and calmness in my life…Nothing to deep. 😳. I like this video because I was planning on going grocery shopping and didn't quite know where to start. I already have these foods in my pantry and fridge. They are great staples to have! After watching this video, I don't feel overwhelmed with the idea of change. Thank you😆

the thing is vegan foods use pretty much more oil and other chemicals to make these dishes, most likely in restaurants and even home cooking, and meat is supposed to be eaten and I'm not being religious but its in the diet just saying :/

Mona Louangaphay says:

I went vegan for health benefits, to lose weight, and because I do not want to eat animals. It is not sustainable to continue to eat a meat based diet. Plant based is better for the planet.

Michael Edwards says:

Day 54 of my plant-based journey. I basically gained the "COVID 19" in weight. But, more importantly, my cholesterol went through the roof at my last blood draw. I started out by researching "Cholesterol-lowering foods" on Youtube. As I learned more, it started dawning on me that the best way to lower cholesterol was to eliminate it from my diet. The best way to not eat cholesterol was by eating whole plants. I can only imagine the difference just quitting dairy had on my blood chemistry! But I decided to go all in. Not to say I won't ever eat meat or cheese again, but it will definitely be on a very rare occasion.

Elli-Mademoiselle G says:

I’m vegan for three years now and still pretty happy with my decision. My husband and our children also are vegan. We’ve watched a documentary about vegan lifestyle and decided to try it out.
First of all our decision was based on healthcare and now three years later it’s also about animals and environment care.
And vegan food can be and is pretty delicious 😋
Sorry, if I made some mistakes, I’m not a native English speaker
