Dipping into the vegan lifestyle. Love this bc i love crispy tofu and i just bought an instant pot air fryer combo
umm.. pressure cooking the tofu?!?
Just bought the cookbook im so excited!
Which is better gluten free options to replace soy sauce in your opinion? Tamari or coconut aminos??
I just did this recipe today. I used frozen broccoli florets instead of fresh and it came out fine. I served it with brown rice and garnished with chives and sesame seeds. Overall, everything tasted too salty. There wasn't any actual salt in the recipe so I think it was just too much liquid aminos. Also, sauteing and tossing the delicate tofu around was a bit challenging since it crumbles so easily. I prefer cooking tofu in the oven or air fryer that way the cubes don't fall apart and no oil is necessary. I LOVE all your recipes Nisha (whish is why I bought your book) but this one was not a fave. 🤷♀️
I’m so late to the game. Just got my cook book and am obsessed!!
Which instant pot do you use? What are your thoughts on it?
how many does this recipe serve?
This was super flavorful, although the tofu turned out a little mushy. Do you need to make sure the saute function is on hot? I think it was on normal which was the problem, either that or I didn't press the tofu long enough. Either way the sauce is great and I am really enjoying your cookbook!
Such a shame you don’t list ingredients and portions. That won’t keep ppl from buying your cookbook. So irritating. I’m trying to send my vegan mom a couple vids to help her get started with her instant pot I got her. YouTube has pretty much only your videos come up when I search but all with no ingredient list. 🙄 Silly.
Ah I figured it out, you look like Halle Berry!
Which brand instant pot you are using and where to buy?
What if I have frozen vegetables
I just received my Instant Pot + your beautiful book and I am following the steps to this recipe! I am so happy I got both things! Your book is like my wish list of recipes! I'm super excited to see the results and do all of your recipes! 🙂 Thank you!
I just made this for my meatless Monday dinner … OMGEEE 😍🤤 so delicious and full of flavor. Thank you!
I've tried so many recipes for tofu-broccoli that did not work, I was not sure this one would. But, it was amazing, so flavourful! That means I'm going to spend the next hour looking at other recipes from Nisha!
Do you prefer to use the 6 or 8 quart Instant pot for your recipes?
Can Seitan be used instead tofu if so, marinade would still apply?
May I share this video in my Pampered chef party? I will be using this recipe at my house but want to share it with omnivores.
Ingredient name
Just made this dish last night for myself and boyfriend, it’s delicious! My boyfriend doesn’t believe dinner is dinner without meat but found this dish very satisfying. We’ll definitely be making this dish again. Thank you Nisha, I can’t wait to try your other recipes🙂
This looks great! I will try it.
Does anyone recommend an alternative for the agave? Date paste maybe??
