Stefania Di Maggio says:

Scientifically speaking, it is toxic to eat garbanzo (chickpea) beans raw (or any other kind of beans) because they can cause anemia affecting red blood cells. I don’t think that cook that beans would be so harmful for your body. It is ok to eat healthy but please do it the right way guys.

Stefania Di Maggio says:

Kathryn Mercier usually canned beans are previously cooked. But always read the label to be 100% sure

YaMare Oka Bey says:

Stefania Di Maggio Actually sprouting them makes them more digestible than cooking them

Savvy Sara says:

Stefania Di Maggio – Yes thank you!! Finally some common sense! Eating every single thing RAW is ridiculous!!!

Lamentation 322 says:

Very good observation !! Also, wearing all the jewelry while cooking is an excellent way to transfer germ’s between bathroom visits, cooking and other interaction unless your removing and cleaning your jewelry between each activity..
I mean no harm I work in health care and hate when germs serious sickness could have been avoided by proper hygiene care

wherethegrovesgrow says:

Kristina this looks delicious but please emphasize that raw chickpeas need to be soaked for minimum 24 hours to reduce toxins. It is best for anyone watching this who is not fully raw to make this recipe with cooked chickpeas as many people, myself included, feel very ill on even thoroughly soaked raw beans and legumes

Autumn Meadows says:

You can sprout the chickpeas, give that a try.

Kristoffer Lysgaard Ⓥ says:

Soaking is not enough. They HAVE to sprout. Otherwise the lectin count will give you big problems

Autumn Meadows says:

Hello, I totally agree.  Soak the beans, then sprout them.  I am surprised that this recipe did not have the sprouting component.  hmm

Red Sonja says:

@Autumn Meadows But I buy chickpeas that are in water in the carton I buy them in… I wash them and then eat them, is that bad?

COZYINN says:

@Red Sonja i also buy chickpeas in a carton/can.. the ones i eat (and i think every other brand too) are already precooked so you can eat them straight out of the can without cooking them (because they are already cooked!) maybe just check if that’s the case with the ones you’re eating 🙂

timmy lundy says:

I’m loving your “pinch” of Himalayan salt 😂

AleeshaBeck says:

timmy lundy more like a handful. Lol.

beautifulmindfulness MT says:

Lol Can’t stop laughing until the” pinch” of Himalayan salt 😆😆😆
So cute

Shalu says:

🤣

Tiffany X says:

Whenever you say something is high in something or low in something, I wish you would give us the information on chronometer or something. High protein may mean different things for different viewers. It would be nice for you to include the protein amount and amino acid ratios. Just a thought

sowhat says:

Tiffany X even the number might mean nothing.

Tiffany X says:

sowhat how do you mean?

LMNTS says:

protein amino acid profiles are useless information, its just information overload. If u want to look at them just google them urself. No reason for her to go into those boring facts.

Tip Aly says:

She would have to be much more specific in her measurements of her ingredients. As it is she gives people a rough idea of what to use.

Flirentina Aposol says:

Yes, and chronometer works great for protein amount!😅

Zeyna Nd says:

That dressing looks so bom!

Norma Jean Baker says:

Your salad looks amazing, however you just contaminated it wearing all that jewelry which has come into contact with the salad. Thank you, but no thank you.

Jamie Dunson says:

Now Kristina we all know that wasn’t no pinch of salt!!! LOL 😂

Lord Of The Skies says:
