#VEGAN100 –
Christmas book OUT SOON –
I am so proud to Welsh & cooking some #veganised classic dishes from my country was really fun. In the video I make, glamorgan sausages, which I can describe as to something similar to a croquette packed full of lovely sautéed #Welsh leek. I also make Welsh rarebits, which were so tasty, basically fancy cheese on toast & of course as a sweet, I had to make #WelshCakes, this little pan cooked cakes are beautiful. Please try these recipes and let me know what you think.

Hey Guys!! Really proud to make these recipes, many of you wouldn’t of heard of. From the country I’m from & love. WALES, in the UK. I promise where ever you are in the world, you’d love these dishes. Please give them a go & share the video if you enjoy it. Wales is only a small country, so please share the video 🏴💚
avantgardevegan I have some questions. Are you a graduate from a culinary university or something? I am a vegan myself and I want to be a professional chef. Vegan chef of course. But the problem is that in culinary universities they make people cook flesh of dead animals, and even taste it. Its horrible. Did you have to go through this?
My seven year old watched the video with me and said you should have a restaurant. He also said he likes your music. I agree, I’ve made a few of your recipes already and they are delicious! My husband is a photographer/editor/videographer so I know a little something. I must say the cinematography of your videos are superb! I really enjoy watching them! Keep up the great work!
You look so happy in this video! Nothing beats recreating vegan versions of food you grew up with! You deserve a lot more subscribers. I’m from the US but would definitely give these a try! I never even heard/tried of Welsh food to be quite honest with you! 😮 This video will be changing that
love the vids! before being vegan, Charcuterie board was the norm for me on the weekends. Cheese, salamis, crackers, and such are what I miss the most and would love to have a vegan version. Just putting that out there for you, if your bored and have a few minutes lol
We as an audience are lucky to witness your passion for vegan food. It is an extra level above when you meld that passion into your personal history. Thank you.
So sad to see how few views this channel gets even though all videos are so well produced and the recipes look so damn delicious. Please keep up the work!
His last video got 101,750 views! That’s pretty great for a vegan channel. I cooked the lasagna myself and posted about it and loads of people were asking me for the recipe… so of course I shared it. I think word is definitely getting there. 🙂
Immediately upon watching this, my boyfriend and I put everything on hold and made ALL THREE OF THE DISHES. They were incredible! Part of his family is Welsh and he is over the moon at making some of his childhood favorites. You and your team are doing such a good job–thank you for all of your hard work!
If anyone’s struggling to find tapioca, or doesn’t want to buy it specially to make the rarebit, I just tried this by blitzing up the rest of the ingredients and then adding them to a standard roux (3 tbsp plain flour, 3 tbsp olive oil) over heat and stirred until it thickened up. Did the rest exactly as described and it worked out great! Cheers Gaz!
yummmmm – that cheesy dish looks especially delicious to me! and thanks for sharing a bit of home with us – my grandfather is Welsh (he left as a teenager – we’re all in America now) but doesn’t share much about his time there. Definitely interesting to learn a bit about the country!
Some of my favorite travel memories have been from Wales! You’ve literally made all the lovely things I’ve had throughout my travels there. Glamorgan sausage in the south, Welsh cakes in Usk, rarebit in a pub I can’t remember where… I miss it so much! I will make every one of these recipes, thank you!
After watching a documentary on Netflix call “What the health” the wife and I are making a transition to a plant base lifestyle. This can be overwhelming since we have meat eaters since day one. So watching you make these recipes is making me more at ease since these recipes are easy to follow. What got me hook to your cooking was your ramen and vegan egg since eggs is a huge staple of my nutrition. Wish you the best in your endeavors for you will own your restaurant soon. God bless.
