Just because there was water boiling doesn’t mean he boiled the veggies. He used the boiling water to steam it. He didn’t put it in the actual pot. Some of the veggies was touching the water but it won’t kill you to do it this way, just don’t do it this way if it will🙄

yeah the vegetable's lose there flavor to the water when boiled like this! you can steam in a rice cooker mine takes 25 minutes and keeps all the flavors but i used to boil cause I didn't know the difference but its huge in taste!

It taste pretty nice and its full of nutrients.

If you don't like the taste, make a smoothie or a broth out of it.

When the vegetables come into contact with water, some nutrients from the vegetables dissipate into the water. Steaming involves non contact with water but steam.
